We are located at D/No 20-60-14/A, which everyone around here calls Fruit Cottage in Chengalraopet. It’s a recognizable spot in Visakhapatnam. Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels is the name on our sign. Working in the hotel business means there is always something going on, day or night. We have guests coming in from all over, some for work and some just visiting the coast. The building has its own character, not like those brand-new blocks that all look the same. We spend a lot of time making sure the rooms are ready and the kitchen is stocked. It’s a lot of physical work, honestly. Cleaning, carrying bags, and checking people in. Some days are much busier than others, especially when there’s a local event. We aren't perfect, but we try to keep things tidy and functional. The staff here mostly lives nearby, so we know the area well. If a guest asks for a good place to eat or a shortcut to the beach, we usually have an answer. It’s not about being a luxury palace; it’s about providing a place to sleep and eat that feels decent. We have our regulars who come back every year, which is nice. You get to know people’s names after a while. It’s just a local hotel operation trying to do right by the people who stay with us in Vizag. The humidity can be tough, but the sea breeze helps a lot when you’re outside.
