Our place is on Tenkasi Road in Rajapalayam, right near the OP stop. If you know the area, it’s 175B/1. Sundaranatchiarpuram is where we spend most of our waking hours. Rajapalayam is a busy town, and being near the bus stop means there is always noise and movement outside. Inside our office, though, it’s a different story. We are a small team at Royair Softtech. It’s an OPC, so it’s a pretty tight operation. We mostly do software stuff, sitting at our desks and trying to figure out bugs or building new features for our clients. The walls are a bit plain and we have some old files stacked in the corner, but it’s our space. We get our tea from the shop just down the road and usually eat our tiffins together. Living and working in Virudhunagar district has its own rhythm. We don't try to act like a big tech firm from Bangalore. We are just local people who happen to be good with computers. Sometimes the rain makes a lot of noise on the roof and we have to talk louder, but we've gotten used to it. We just show up every morning, do our work, and head home when the sun goes down. It's honest work and we're happy to be doing it here in our hometown.
