Down here on Tenkasi Road, things move at their own pace. K B Systems & Services is tucked away at 1491C, and it’s been our base for a good long time. Rajapalayam is a busy enough place, especially with all the transport passing through, but our corner stays relatively manageable most of the time. We spend the mornings setting things up and checking the logs. The building isn't brand new or anything, just a practical space where we can keep our tools and parts organized. Sometimes the dust from the road gets in, so we’re always wiping down the counters. Most of our day is just fixing what’s broken and making sure the systems are behaving. We don't have a big reception area or fancy furniture. There are a few chairs for people who come in, and usually, a fan going full blast because of the heat. It’s a local operation, really. We know the people around the neighborhood and they know where to find us. Dealing with Rajapalayam’s power cuts is just part of the routine. We have our regulars who stop by just to say hello while they’re out running errands. It’s a steady kind of life. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. Just a small team at 1491C trying to do a decent job every day until the sun goes down and we lock up for the evening.
