Tsm Jain College Of Technology

The college is based in Mellur, near Chinnasalem in the Villupuram district. It is a bit of a drive to get out here, but it is quiet which is good for studying. We have the usual labs and classrooms you would expect for a technology college. The equipment is there for the students to use during their practical hours. It is not a flashy place. We focus more on the actual work than the appearance of the buildings. The staff members live around here or travel from nearby towns. We have a lot of students who are the first in their families to go to a college like this. We spend a lot of time on the technical subjects. The cafeteria is where most people hang out when they aren't in a lecture. It is a simple setup with basic food. The weather in Villupuram gets quite dry and dusty, so the floors need a lot of sweeping. We don't use much fancy language when we talk to the students. We just tell them what they need to learn for their degrees. It is an honest place to get an education. Most of the day is spent in the labs or reading. We don't have big events every week. It is mostly just the routine of the semester and the exams that follow. We keep things grounded and just do our jobs.
