St Pauls Public School

We are located inside the AE Mission Compound on Rayanapadu Road. It’s a nice, quiet spot in Gollapudi, which is a bit away from the main rush of Vijayawada. The compound has a lot of old trees that provide some shade during the afternoon sun. It feels a bit different being inside the compound walls; it’s like a little world of its own. We have a lot of kids from the 521225 area who walk here every morning. The gate is usually open by seven, and you can see the staff sweeping the front porch. The school building has been through many rainy seasons, and you can see some water marks on the ceiling in the back rooms. We don't have fancy air conditioning, so we keep the windows open to let the breeze in. Sometimes birds fly into the classrooms, which makes the kids laugh. We spend our days teaching math and English and making sure everyone stays in line. The principal’s office is right by the entrance, and there’s always a queue of people waiting for something. We try to keep the place tidy, but with so many children running around, there’s always some dust. It’s a straightforward school where we focus on the daily lessons. People around Gollapudi know us well because we’ve been here for such a long time. It’s just a normal part of the community and we like it that way.
