Ranga Tiles

We’ve been at 278, Prakasam Road for a while now. Ramalingeswarapet is a busy part of town, and Ranga Tiles is right in the middle of it. The shop isn't anything special to look at from the outside, but we have stacks of tiles piled up everywhere inside. It gets pretty loud with the traffic outside and the sound of people moving crates. We don’t really do fancy advertising or anything like that. Most folks find us because they live nearby or heard about us from a friend who was fixing up their kitchen. I spend a lot of time checking the stock and making sure we haven't run out of the popular sizes. Sometimes the inventory gets a bit messy, but I know where everything is. It’s a small operation, mostly just family and a couple of helpers who have been with us forever. We handle the heavy lifting ourselves. If someone comes in looking for something specific, we go through the stacks until we find it. It's simple work, but it keeps us busy from morning until we close up at night. The weather gets hot in the afternoons, so we usually have the fan going full blast while we talk to customers. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in town, just a decent place where you can get what you need without a lot of fuss. That's really all there is to it.
