Our place is at H.No. 6-72 in Vijayawada. It’s a basic setup where we deal with granite blocks and slabs. Being in this part of town means we deal with a lot of dust and noise, but that is part of the job when you’re moving heavy stone around. The weather in Vijayawada can be really tough, especially in May when the sun is beating down on the yard. We spend most of our time loading and unloading trucks. The address says N.J Us, which is just where we are situated along the main routes. We don't have any big slogans or anything. We just have the granite and we sell it. Some days are slow, and other days it feels like everyone wants their stone at the exact same time. We have a few guys who have been with us for years. They know how to handle the slabs without breaking them, which is the most important part. If a piece cracks, that’s money down the drain. We just keep our heads down and get the work done. The yard isn't much to look at, but it’s functional. We have some old machinery that still runs fine. We don't really bother with social media or fancy websites. If someone needs granite, they usually just drive down to the house or call us up and ask what we have in stock today. It’s just stone, after all, and we try to be as helpful as we can.
