Crescent Public School

Our school is over in Governerpet on Gopala Reddy Road. The building is tucked into a busy part of Vijayawada, so there’s always a lot of traffic and people moving about outside the gate. It’s Door No 27-23-182, just in case you’re looking for the exact spot on the map. We’ve got a multi-story setup because space is tight in this neighborhood. The stairs are a bit narrow, and the kids are always running up and down them during their breaks. It can get pretty loud when the bell rings for recess. Inside, the rooms are filled with the usual school stuff like desks, blackboards, and piles of notebooks. We don’t have a massive field, but there’s enough room for the students to gather in the morning for their assembly. The staff room is usually a mess of tea cups and half-graded papers. It’s a real working school, not some shiny catalog picture. We deal with the usual stuff like broken fans and leaky taps whenever they pop up. Most of our students live within a few kilometers, so they walk or take the local rickshaws. The morning sun hits the front of the building quite early, making it bright and warm by the time lessons start. It’s a steady kind of life here, just getting through the syllabus and making sure the kids show up on time. We’ve been part of this street for quite a while now.
