Shree Exports & Poultry Farms

Our place is at 67/1 New Hotel Anna Street in Jolarpettai. It is a bit of a mix here because we handle both the export side of things and the poultry farm work. You can usually tell you’re close by the sound of the birds and the activity near the loading docks. We started out small and just kept adding bits and pieces to the building as we needed more space. The Jolarpettai weather can be quite hot, so we spend a lot of time making sure the sheds are ventilated and the birds are doing okay. It’s a long day that starts before the sun is even up, usually with checking the stock and getting the first few loads ready for the street. The office is just a corner of the main building with a couple of chairs and a lot of dusty ledgers. We don’t have any fancy signs or anything like that; people just know us by the address. Anna Street gets pretty busy with people walking to the nearby shops, so there is always something to look at out the front door. We keep things simple and just focus on the daily tasks of feeding, cleaning, and moving the products out. It’s a bit messy sometimes, especially when it rains and the trucks track mud in, but that’s just part of running a farm and an export business together. We just get on with the work.
