Vivekananda Higher Secondary School

You can find us at Plot No-865 in Indira Nagar Brahmpuri. It is a solid, brick building that stands out a bit in the neighborhood. We have been teaching kids here for quite some time now. Every morning, the street gets busy with students arriving in their uniforms. We have different sections for the various subjects, and the teachers stay pretty busy moving from one room to another. It is a higher secondary school, so the work gets a bit more serious as the students get older. We have a small library and some basic labs, nothing too extravagant. The classrooms are filled with the usual sounds of shuffling papers and teachers explaining things on the board. We try to keep the place organized, though it can get a bit messy when the rain starts and everyone brings in mud on their shoes. The local families seem to appreciate having a school right here in the colony. We don't have any big slogans or anything, we just focus on the lessons each day. Sometimes the power goes out and we just have to keep going with the windows open for light. It is just the way things are. We are happy to be a part of the kids' lives as they grow up and move on to whatever is next for them. It is a lot of work but it feels worth it.
