Nims University

Working at Nims University over here in the Satyendra Kumar Gupta Colony is always an interesting experience. Our office is in the B 2 building, right in the Lanka area of Varanasi. If you know Varanasi, you know that Lanka is one of those places that never really sleeps. There is always a crowd of students, rickshaws honking, and people selling snacks on the corner. It is a bit chaotic, but it has a good energy to it. Inside the office, we handle a lot of the day-to-day stuff that keeps things running for the students and the staff. It is a lot of paperwork, answering the same questions over and over, and trying to keep the files organized. Sometimes the power goes out and we just have to sit there and wait, which gives us a chance to catch our breath. We are not a big fancy corporate headquarters; we are just a local branch trying to help people navigate their way through school. The walls are covered in notices and calendars. We see a lot of faces every day, each person with their own story or problem to solve. We do our best to help them out without making a big deal out of it. It is just a regular job in a very busy city, and we are happy to be a part of the community here.
