We’ve been operating this college for a long time. It’s not a fancy institution with a huge budget for advertising. We just have our building and our staff here in Ramaepur. People call us Tilak Inter College, and that’s what the sign says out front. We focus on the intermediate years for students around here. It’s a plain and simple setup. There are classrooms, a small office, and a place for the students to gather. We don’t have any polished corporate brochures. This is just how we talk. The days are usually spent on lessons and handling the local paperwork that comes with running a school. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, but we have fans in most of the rooms. We are just a local college trying to help the youth in Allahabad get their certificates. There’s no big philosophy behind it, just the daily work of teaching. We are part of the community here and we know most of the families in the area. It’s a straightforward place with no frills. We like being in Ramaepur and plan to stay here for many more years, doing what we do for the local kids.
