Maa Vindhyavasini Rice Mill

Maa Vindhyavasini Rice Mill is located at Plot No. 13/392 in Nokapura. We are right in the Lanka area, and we are quite close to the Ram Lila Medhan. During the festival season, it gets incredibly busy around here with all the crowds and the noise from the celebrations, but it is a nice change of pace from the usual routine. The mill is where we do all the heavy lifting. We take in the raw paddy and process it as best as we can. It is a dusty job and the machines make a lot of noise, but it is honest work that keeps us busy from sunrise to sunset. Nokapura is a place where everyone knows what everyone else is doing. We have been working at this plot for quite some time. The building itself is sturdy, even if it looks a bit worn down from the weather and the years of use. We don't have any big corporate ideas; we just want to make sure the rice is processed properly so it can go out to the markets. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to wait around for it to come back, which gives us a chance to sit and have a bit of a chat. It is a simple life in Lanka. We focus on the grain and the seasons. The ground near the Ram Lila Medhan is usually empty most of the year, providing a bit of space.
