Taste King

You can find Taste King over in the Nadesar area of Varanasi. We are at S19/1 K in the Mint House building, right in the Nai Bazar Cantt section. It is quite close to the Hotel Taj Nadesar, which is a big landmark around here. Our shop is a bit different from the big hotels nearby. We are much smaller and a lot more casual. We have been here for several years now, serving the local community and the people who work in the bazaar. The place is not fancy. We have wooden chairs and simple tables for our customers. The menu covers the basics that people in Varanasi like to eat for lunch and dinner. We do not have a big marketing budget or a fancy logo. We just rely on the fact that we have been on this corner for a long time. People know where we are. The kitchen can get pretty hot in the summer, but we keep the food coming as fast as we can. We get our supplies from the market every morning. It is a lot of work running a place in a busy bazaar, but we enjoy the energy of the neighborhood. We do not pretend to be anything we are not. We are just a local eatery where you can get a plate of food without any trouble. If you are walking through Nai Bazar, you will see us there. It is a very practical spot.
