Taste Fantacy

Our little spot, Taste Fantacy, is located right on Station Road in the Maldahiya area of Varanasi. Being so close to the railway station and the Hotel HHI, we see a lot of people coming in with their luggage, looking for a quick meal before they catch their next train. It is a busy street outside, and there is always a lot of dust and noise, so we try to keep things moving fast once people sit down. The kitchen is usually pretty hot, especially during the lunch rush when everyone wants their food at the exact same time. We do not have a massive menu, just the things we know how to cook well every day. The tables are simple, and we spend a lot of time just wiping them down and setting things up for the next group of travelers. Varanasi is a crowded city, and Maldahiya is one of those places that never really seems to sleep. We have been here for a few years now, and we have gotten used to the rhythm of the travelers and the locals who stop by for a snack. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to scramble to keep the kitchen going, but that is just how it is here. It is a family-run kind of thing, so you might see the same faces every time you walk in. We just want to serve a decent plate.
