Gayatri Hair Dressers

Gayatri Hair Dressers is located at S-15/1 C on Makbool Alam Road in the Chaukaghat area of Varanasi. It’s a place where people come when they need a quick trim or a shave. We have a few old chairs that have seen a lot of use over the years, and the mirrors are lined up along the wall. There’s always a bit of hair on the floor because it gets busy, especially in the mornings before people head off to work. You can hear the fans humming and the sound of scissors clicking all day. We keep a stack of newspapers on the side for anyone waiting their turn. It’s a very local spot, so we see the same faces every couple of weeks. The street outside is usually loud with traffic and people walking by, but inside it’s just the usual talk about the weather or what’s happening in the neighborhood. We use the same types of creams and powders that have been around forever. It’s not one of those modern places with fancy lights and music. It’s just a simple barber shop where you can sit down, get your hair cut, and have a bit of a chat. The shop has been a part of this street for a while now. We open up early and stay until late in the evening most days of the week.
