Lakme Salon

You can find our Lakme Salon at D-63/12 in the Mahmoorganj area of Varanasi. We are situated right near the Mahmoorganj police chowki, so it’s a pretty easy landmark for people to use. Varanasi is such an old and busy city, and sometimes it feels like everything is moving at once outside. Inside our salon, we try to create a bit of a different vibe. It’s where people come to get their hair done or take care of their skin. We have a team here that has been working together for a while. We aren't a corporate office; we’re just a group of people who enjoy what we do. We do all the usual stuff like haircuts, bridal makeup, and facials. Every day is a bit different depending on who walks in. We get a lot of local women who have been coming to us since we first opened. We don’t use any of those scripted greetings you hear in some places. We just say hello and get to work. The shop is kept tidy and we try to make sure everyone feels relaxed while they’re here. It’s a practical business. We aren't trying to be the most expensive place in the city. We just want to do a good job so that people feel better when they walk out the door. That’s really all there is to it for us here in Mahmoorganj.
