Blossom Beauty Parlour

Blossom Beauty Parlour is over in Varanasi, specifically in Sriram Nagar Colony at Kakarmatta. Our address is N 10/58 J 1, and we are right in Lane No-1. It is a very quiet residential street compared to the main parts of the city. Most of the people who come here are women who live in the same colony or just a few lanes away. We do not have a big glass storefront or a fancy reception area. It is basically a small room that we have turned into a parlour. We have the usual things like a couple of chairs, a hair wash sink, and some shelves with creams and bottles. It feels very much like a home. We spend our days doing simple things like threading, waxing, or cutting hair. Because it is a colony, everyone knows everyone else. We often sit and talk about our families or what is happening in the neighborhood while we work. It is not a place where you will find high-tech machines. We rely on our hands and the skills we have learned over the years. The lane outside is narrow, so you can mostly just hear the sounds of children playing or a stray dog barking. It is a humble little shop and we are happy with that. We just focus on the work for the ladies who come to us for their hair and beauty needs every month.
