Baba Traders

Baba Traders is located in Adha Sarai, right near the Ram Singh Akhara. If you are standing in front of Beniya Park, you can see us just across the way. It is a nice spot to be because the park brings a bit of greenery to the area. Our shop is quite old-fashioned. We haven't changed much over the years. We trade in different kinds of goods that the people in this neighborhood need for their daily lives. The building we are in has seen better days, with some peeling paint and old wooden doors, but it has a lot of character. We don't have a big staff, just me and a couple of others who have been working together for a long time. During the day, we spend a lot of time sitting out front and talking to the people who walk past. It’s a friendly neighborhood and everyone knows each other. We don't go in for all that modern advertising or social media. We just believe in being here when the customers need us. Sometimes when it's slow, we just watch the kids playing in Beniya Park or listen to the sounds from the Akhara. It is a slow and steady kind of business. We aren't trying to become some big company. We are just happy to be a part of Adha Sarai and serve the people who live around here. It’s a good life for us and we just keep it simple.
