B. S. R. N. Intermediate College

Sarnath is a place with so much history, and our college is right there on Sarnath Road in Faridpur. You can hear the traffic and the general buzz of the area from the classrooms. It’s an intermediate college, so we are dealing with teenagers who are at that age where they are always full of energy. The mornings are the loudest time, with everyone arriving at once. The building isn’t new, but it serves its purpose well. We have rooms for different subjects and a bit of space for the kids to hang out between classes. Varanasi can get incredibly hot, so we rely on the fans and the high ceilings to keep things somewhat cool. The staff here have a lot of experience handling the local crowd. We aren't a fancy private school with air conditioning in every room. It’s a practical place for families living around Sarnath who want their kids to finish their intermediate years. We spend a lot of time on the basics, making sure the syllabus is covered before the big exams. There’s a lot of running around during the day, whether it’s the office staff trying to sort out registrations or the teachers moving from one room to another. It’s a bit messy sometimes, but that’s life in a busy school. We just do our jobs and try to keep things organized enough so the students can actually learn something.
