Archana Girls Degree College is found at Nabbey Chauraha in the Pure Banai area of Baraut, Allahabad. This part of 221502 is quite traditional, and the college is a big landmark for the local families. Since it’s a girls' college, there’s a sense of a safe and quiet space once you step inside from the busy chauraha. The building isn't new, and you can see that in the architecture and the way the rooms are laid out. We have a lot of young women coming from the surrounding villages and towns to get their degrees here. Most of them are the first in their families to go to college, which makes the atmosphere a bit serious but also hopeful. We don't have high-tech labs or huge libraries, just enough books and space to sit and study. The teachers are mostly women who have been working in the Allahabad education system for years. They are straightforward and don't have much patience for nonsense. Outside the gates, the Nabbey Chauraha is always full of life, with rickshaws and vendors, but the college stays its own little world. It’s a place where we focus on the basic subjects and getting through the university syllabus. It’s not a polished corporate place, just a regular degree college doing what it can for the local students. We just want to see the girls finish their studies and do well for themselves.
