Anushka Ladies Beauty Parlour

We are out here in Rushtampur, specifically in the Kashipur area on Ghazipur Road. It’s a bit of a drive from the main center of Varanasi, but Barla is a growing spot. Anushka Ladies Beauty Parlour is tucked away where the locals live. We don’t get many tourists, just the women who live nearby. The road outside can get a bit bumpy, and when it rains, it’s a bit of a mess, but that’s just how it is here. Our shop is simple. We have a few chairs and some basic equipment. We don’t use those fancy words you see in magazines. We just do the work. Most of our customers have been coming to us for years. They know our names and we know theirs. It feels more like a community spot than a business sometimes. We talk about the weather, the price of vegetables, and whatever else is going on in Kashipur. It’s not a polished place. The floor has a few scuffs, and the sign outside has faded a little from the sun. But it’s ours. We open up every morning and wait for the regulars to stop by. Sometimes people just pop in for a quick chat while they are out running errands. We don’t mind. It’s a slow and steady way to live. We’re just glad to be a part of the daily life on Ghazipur Road and keep things going for our neighbors.
