Padmavati Bromides

Working out of Plot No C/1/B/72 in the GIDC 100 Shed Area means we’re right in the heart of the industrial zone. Padmavati Bromides is basically what it says on the sign. We handle bromides and related chemical products. It’s dusty out here and there’s always a truck moving somewhere nearby. Our shed is where all the actual work happens. It’s not a place for suits and ties. We’re usually in our work clothes, checking on the drums or making sure the storage temperatures are okay. The GIDC area has its own rhythm, and we’ve been part of it for a while now. We don’t spend much time on fancy decorations. Most of our space is used for the product and the equipment. We have a small desk area for the billing and the phone calls, but the real focus is on the back where the stock is kept. People come to us because they know we’re actually here on the ground, not some distant office. Sometimes the power goes out or the road gets blocked by a delivery, but we just deal with it as it comes. It’s a practical business for practical people. We know the chemical trade is tough, so we just try to be reliable and get the drums loaded on time. It’s nothing more, nothing less than that. We just stay busy and keep the shed running as best as we can.
