Annapurna Chemicals

Our shop is down in the GIDC area of Valsad. We are on the ground floor of the Govinda Complex, number 57. It’s a straightforward place to find if you are familiar with the industrial district. We deal with chemicals, mostly focusing on what the local industries around here need for their own production. The space isn't huge, so we have to be smart about how we stack the bags and containers. It’s often a bit dusty inside, which is just part of being in GIDC. We open up early in the morning because that’s when the trucks start moving. There is usually a lot of noise from the neighboring units, but you get used to it after a week or two. We don't do much in the way of advertising. Most of our work comes from people knowing where we are and what we keep in stock. If we don’t have something, we usually know who does. It’s a small community of businesses here. The desk is usually covered in invoices and tea stains. We don’t have a fancy website or anything like that. It’s just us, the inventory, and the daily grind of moving products from one place to another. We just try to stay honest and get the orders right so people keep coming back to unit 57.
