Srinivas Chemicals

We are based at Plot No. C2/3 6 in the GIDC area. Srinivas Chemicals is a small operation, mostly run by a few of us who have been in the trade for a long time. Our space is filled with bags of raw materials and rows of plastic drums. It’s not a place for visitors really, just a place for work. We focus on the basic chemicals that other factories nearby use for their production. Every morning we check the schedule and start the mixers. It’s a steady rhythm of pouring, stirring, and testing. We don’t have a big office or a bunch of managers. We just do the work ourselves. If a customer has a question, they usually just walk in and ask whoever is standing near the door. We like it that way. It’s direct and there’s no confusion. The GIDC is always busy with traffic and people, which keeps us on our toes. We’ve seen a lot of businesses come and go, but we’ve managed to stay put at this plot. Our equipment is old but it works fine for what we need. We don't feel the need to have the latest gadgets. As long as the chemicals are mixed right and the containers are sealed, we are happy. It’s a modest life, working in the heat and getting the jobs done. We just keep moving forward one day at a time here. It is what it is for us.
