Our factory is located at J 2329 in the 3rd Phase of GIDC, Vapi. If you’ve ever been to this part of Gujarat, you know it’s just miles and miles of industries. We’ve been operating here for a long time, right in the thick of things. The air always has that heavy, industrial scent, and there is a constant rumble of trucks passing by on the main road. Inside our unit, we deal with all sorts of chemical mixing and processing. We have these big vats and drums stacked up everywhere. It’s not the cleanest place, but it’s a working chemical plant, so that’s expected. We wear our boots and gear and just get on with the batches. Sometimes the heat in Vapi gets really bad, especially in the afternoons, and the metal roof doesn't help much. We just drink a lot of water and keep the fans going. We don’t have a fancy marketing team or anyone to write nice things about us. It’s just us, the workers, and the chemicals. We follow the orders that come in, make sure the mixtures are right, and load them onto the trucks. Most of our days are spent checking labels and making sure the containers are sealed tight. It’s hard work, and the shifts can be long, but that’s just how it is in the 3rd Phase.
