Mehta Chemicals

Mehta Chemicals is located at 2907/1, right near the New Telephone Exchange in Gidc Vapi. It’s a busy corner of the world, and we’ve been part of it for a long time. Our space isn't huge, but it's enough for what we do. We mostly deal with different chemical supplies that local industries need. On a typical morning, we’re busy checking the drums and making sure the inventory matches our handwritten notes. It’s a lot of manual work, moving things around and talking to truck drivers who are trying to navigate the narrow roads around the exchange. Vapi is always a bit dusty and loud, and our place is no different. We don't have any fancy signs or a polished reception area. Usually, there’s just a desk with a lot of old files and a telephone that rings more than it should. My brother and I take turns managing the floor and the paperwork. We’ve had the same few guys helping us for years, so we all know how the other person works. It’s a practical business. We don't worry about being the biggest or anything like that. We just make sure the orders are ready when they’re supposed to be. When the monsoon hits, the yard gets a bit muddy, but we just put on our boots and keep moving. It’s a living, and we’re used to the pace here in the Gidc area.
