Our office is at D 1003 in the Chintan Co-op Housing Society. It's in Vapi, specifically near the Ambaji Temple in the GIDC area. Being in a housing society is a bit different for a company like ours, but it works for the administrative side. We’re in Gujarat, so the industrial vibe is everywhere. We deal with intermediates for the chemical industry. It’s a lot of technical names and long numbers. My desk is usually covered in lab reports and shipping manifests. The temple nearby is quite nice; you can hear the bells sometimes in the morning. It gives a bit of peace to a busy day. Vapi is a hub for this kind of work. We’ve been here since the society was newer. The neighbors are mostly used to us by now. We try not to make too much noise. The apartment we use as an office is functional. We have a small meeting table and a few computers. It’s not like those big corporate offices you see in movies. It’s just a place where we do our business. Most of our actual products are stored elsewhere. Here, we just manage the orders and talk to the clients. Sometimes the monsoon rains make it hard to get to the office, but we manage. It’s a steady life and we’ve made some good friends in the building over the years. We keep things running as smoothly as possible.
