Vinay Chemicals is based out of Plot No. 28/A in the Phase-1Carea. This part of the estate has been around for a long time, and our building shows it. The walls have that weathered look you only get after years of being around industrial processes. Inside, there are pipes running along the ceiling and big tanks that take up most of the floor space. It’s not the quietest place to work, with the constant hum of the pumps and the sound of liquid moving through the lines. We spend a lot of time checking gauges and making sure the temperatures are right. The floor is usually a bit damp from the wash-downs we do between batches. We don't have a big lobby or a place for guests to sit, just a couple of plastic chairs near the entrance. Most people who come here are drivers or suppliers who are used to the smell of a chemical plant. We keep our paperwork in old metal filing cabinets that have seen better days. The sun hits the front of the building hard in the afternoon, making the small office area pretty warm, but we have a couple of sturdy fans that keep the air moving. It’s a straightforward operation. We don’t try to make it look like something it isn't. It’s just a chemical unit in Phase-1 where we’ve been putting in our hours for years, keeping the tanks full and the orders moving out.
