Our office is up on the first floor of the Simit Building. It’s not a very big space, but it’s enough for us to keep our drawings and files organized. We do a lot of work with steel structures and helping people figure out how to put their buildings together. Mostly, we are sitting at the desks looking at plans or talking on the phone with contractors who are out on the sites. It can get pretty busy around here when there are deadlines coming up, and you’ll often see piles of papers on every table. We aren't the type of place with fancy furniture or a reception desk. People just walk in and we talk about whatever project they have going on. Sometimes we have to go out to the sites ourselves to check on how things are being built, so the office might be empty for a few hours. We’ve been working out of this building for a while now and we like it because it's easy for people to find us. The stairs are a bit narrow, but once you get up here, it’s a quiet place to work. We just focus on the technical side of things and try to make sure the math is right so the structures stay standing. It's mostly just regular guys doing a regular job, trying to keep up with all the new rules and ways of doing things. We’ve been at this for a long time and we know most of the local builders.
