Our facility at Plot No. 297/4-10 in Vapi’s 2nd Phase is where we spend most of our waking hours. It’s a big stretch of plots, from 4 to 10, so there's a lot of ground to cover. Being in GIDC, we are surrounded by all kinds of industries. The 396195 zip code is a busy one, and you can feel it the moment you arrive. Inside Dhiraj Intermidiates, it’s mostly about managing the tanks and the pipes. It’s not a quiet place. There is always a pump running or someone moving something around. The floor can get a bit slippery if we aren't careful, so we spend a lot of time cleaning up spills. We’ve got a small break room where the guys sit and eat their lunch. It’s simple, with a couple of benches and a fan that squeaks a bit. We don't have any marketing people or a sales team sitting in suits. Most of us are in work clothes all day. The paperwork gets done on a cluttered desk in the front office. Sometimes the computers are slow, but we get the orders processed eventually. We take things one day at a time. The heat in Gujarat can be a real challenge in May, so we drink a lot of water and try to stay in the shade when possible. It's just a regular workday here for the staff at Dhiraj Intermidiates.
