Dhaval Phosphate

Dhaval Phosphate is tucked away at Plot No 3/21 inside the Gidc Estate. It’s not the easiest place to find if you’re new to the area, but once you’ve been here once, you remember the way. The building is a bit older, with some patches on the walls, but it serves its purpose just fine. We mostly deal with the day-to-day grind of the industry. There's always some dust around because of what we handle, so we spend a lot of time cleaning up at the end of the shift. It’s just a small crew here, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything. One day you’re helping with loading and the next you might be looking at the books. We don't have any big signs or bright lights. It’s just the gate and the name on the wall. The weather gets pretty hot in the summer and the shed traps the heat, but we have a couple of big fans that help. Most of our neighbors are also in the same boat, so we all get along okay. We buy our tea from the stall just outside the main gate. It's a routine that works for us. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just focus on getting the product out and making sure the counts are right. It’s simple work, and we like it that way. Sometimes the rain makes the yard a bit muddy, but we just work around it.
