Chandratech

Chandratech is tucked away in the IIIrd Phase of the GIDC. Our plot number is L/2703/5, and we are situated right behind the Today’s Writing Products building. It’s a huge industrial area, so it’s very easy to get lost if you don’t know the local landmarks. We’ve been operating out of this particular spot for several years now. The GIDC is always humming with all kinds of activity. There are trucks, forklifts, and workers moving around everywhere you look. Our shop is mostly focused on technical work and fabrication of parts. It’s definitely not a clean-room environment. We have grease on the floor and old blueprints pinned to the walls. We don't spend any money on glossy brochures or fancy websites. Instead, we spend it on buying better drill bits or keeping the old lathe machine serviced properly. The air in the IIIrd Phase can be a bit heavy with the smell of smoke and oil, but we don't mind it much. It’s just the smell of work getting done. Our team is a mix of older guys who know the machines inside out and a couple of younger fellows who are still learning the ropes. We eat our lunch together in the small break area we carved out near the back door. It’s a simple life for us. We get the orders, we make the things, and we send them out. There isn't much more to it.
