We are Maheshwari Infotech and we set up our shop in room 235 of the Panchratna Complex. It is right near the GIDC Char Rasta in Vapi. It is a very busy intersection, so there is always a lot of noise from the street traffic outside. We deal with computers and software stuff, which is a bit different from the big factories surrounding us. The office is small and usually filled with the sound of fans cooling down our servers. We spend most of our time staring at screens and trying to figure out why things are not working right. It is not as physical as some other jobs, but it is tiring in a different way. We help local businesses with their IT needs and sometimes we fix hardware that people bring in to us. The building is older, so the elevator is a bit slow and grumpy. We often have tea delivered from the stall downstairs while we work through a difficult problem. It is a casual environment here. We do not wear suits or anything stiff like that. Most of us just wear jeans and t-shirts to work. Vapi is a big industrial town, so there is always a demand for some kind of tech support. We have been here for a few years now and know the area well. We just try to be helpful and solve the tech issues.
