Our workshop is Shed No. L-7838/38 in the G.I.D.C. area, right near Dhiraj Cam. It’s a typical industrial shed with a high ceiling and a concrete floor that’s seen better days. We’ve been here for a while now, doing various engineering jobs. It’s mostly small-scale stuff, like turning parts on the lathe or fixing broken machinery for the other units nearby. We have a few old machines that are still very reliable, even if they look a bit worn. I usually get to the shed early in the morning before it gets too hot. The metal roof really picks up the heat by noon. We have a couple of workers who have been with us for a long time. We aren't a big company with many departments. It’s just us doing the actual work. We don't use much fancy software; most of our plans are drawn out on paper. There’s a small desk in the corner where I keep the bills and the ledger. Sometimes we have a lot of work and have to stay late, and other weeks it’s a bit slower. We don't really mind either way. We take our lunch under the shade of the tree outside when the weather is nice. People in the estate know us as the guys who can fix almost anything mechanical. We don't make any big promises, we just try to be helpful and do the job right.
