Maruti Engineers

We have been at Plot No. 506-5-b for a long time now. Working in the Gidc Ind. Estate means there is always noise and movement around us. Maruti Engineers is just a small team of people who know their way around machines and metal. Most mornings start with tea and checking what needs fixing or making for the day. It isn't a fancy office with air conditioning and quiet halls. We have grease on our hands and tools spread out over the workbenches. Some days are much busier than others, especially when a big order comes in or a machine breaks down and needs attention right away. People around the estate know where to find us if they need something done quickly. We do not spend much time on computers or in meetings. Most of our work happens right on the shop floor. The air usually smells like metal and oil here. It is just how it has always been for us. We just get on with the job. Sometimes we stay late to finish up a project, and other times it is quiet enough to clean the workspace and organize the racks. There is no big secret to how we operate. We just show up at the plot and start working on whatever is sitting in front of us. It gets hot in the afternoons, but we keep the fans going. If you walk past the gate, you will probably hear the sound of the lathes. That is just Maruti Engineers doing what we do.
