Ani Engineers

Ani Engineers is located at Plot No. 54. We don't really have a fancy street name or a big office building to point to. It’s just the plot where we set up our equipment and started working. The area around us is mostly industrial, so there’s always the sound of metal hitting metal or the hum of generators in the background. Our space is pretty open, with a high roof to keep things from getting too stuffy during the hotter months. We have our machines lined up along one side and a small corner partitioned off for where we keep our tools and some of the finished work. It’s the kind of place where you have to watch your step because there might be a piece of scrap or a tool sitting on the ground. We don't have a dedicated salesperson or a front desk person. Usually, if the gate is open, one of us will look up from what we’re doing to see who’s coming in. The work is physically demanding and we often go home with tired backs and dirty clothes at the end of the day. We’ve been at Plot 54 for a while now, and we’ve seen the empty plots around us slowly get filled up with other small shops. It’s a hardworking neighborhood where everyone is just trying to make a living. We don't talk much while the machines are running, but we usually catch up during the tea break.
