Vinod Iron Works

Vinod Iron Works is based in Vadodara, right across from the Dutt Nagar Colony. It is a handy location for us because people living in the colony often stop by when they need something made of iron for their houses. The workshop is a bit old and the roof makes some noise when it rains, but it has everything we need to bend and cut metal. We spend a lot of our time dealing with heat and heavy hammers. It’s a loud place, especially when we are working on larger gates or frames. The area around Dutt Nagar is usually busy, so there is always something going on outside our doors. We have lived and worked in Vadodara for a long time, so we know the local rhythm well. The shop isn't much to look at from the outside, just a typical iron works with stuff piled up near the front. We don't have a big team, just a few people who know their way around an anvil and a welder. Every morning we open up and check what needs to be finished from the day before. Sometimes the summer heat makes it a bit tricky to work near the forge, but we manage. We aren't trying to be anything big or corporate. We just focus on the iron and making sure it turns out okay for whoever asked for it. It is honest work and it keeps us busy enough throughout the week without needing any fancy advertisements.
