Ashwani Road Carriers

Ashwani Road Carriers is based at Choksi Villa, B 43, in the Krishna Society area on Harni Road. It’s a bit of a different setting compared to a big industrial park. Harni Road is a well-known stretch, and being in Krishna Society gives us a bit of a local feel. The office at Choksi Villa is where we handle all the bookings and driver schedules. It’s a relatively quiet spot, though you can still hear the main road traffic. We have a few desks and a lot of phone lines that seem to ring at the same time every afternoon. We’ve been working out of this location for quite a while now. The team here is small, mostly just family and a couple of guys who have been with us forever. We spend a lot of time looking at schedules and trying to figure out the best routes for the carriers. Sometimes we have to deal with unexpected breakdowns or drivers getting stuck in traffic, which can be frustrating. We don’t have a polished corporate look; the office is lived-in and has piles of paper everywhere. We just try to get the work done and keep things simple. Most of our day is spent making sure the trucks are where they are supposed to be. It’s a lot of coordination and talking on the phone. Harni Road is a good base for us, and we’ve become a part of the local scenery over the years.
