We’ve been here at Karelibaug for quite a while now, right on S V Road E 2. It’s a busy spot, and the office usually has a lot of paperwork piled up on the desks. We spend most of our days talking to drivers and making sure the trucks are actually where they are supposed to be. It’s not always quiet, especially when the big lorries are pulling in or out, but that is just how it goes here at Globe Carrying Corporation. Sometimes the phone doesn’t stop ringing for an hour, and other times it is just us sitting here with a cup of tea waiting for a delivery update. We don't have anything fancy in the office, just the basics like a few chairs, some old ledgers, and a map on the wall that's seen better days. People stop by to ask about rates or just to check on their stuff. We try to keep things simple and honest. If a truck is stuck in traffic or there is a delay because of the rain, we just tell people the truth. There’s no point in making up stories. Most of the guys who work here have been around for years, so we know the routes pretty well. It’s hard work, and the hours can be long, but it keeps us busy. We just focus on getting the goods from one place to another without too much fuss.
