If you look for us in Santkawnar Colony, we are at the 1st Cross, house C-6. It’s a residential-feeling spot, which is funny because we spend our time packing up houses and moving people’s lives around. Amul Packers & Movers isn't a huge corporation; it’s just us and our crew. We have a lot of tape, bubble wrap, and cardboard boxes stacked up in our storage area. Sometimes the office smells like fresh packing tape. Moving is a messy business, and we see people at their most stressed, so we try to just stay calm and do the lifting. Our spot at C-6 is where we coordinate everything. We spend a lot of time on our cell phones talking to the guys on the trucks. The 1st Cross can be narrow, so we have to be careful when we bring the bigger vehicles in. The neighbors are mostly used to us by now. We’ve lived and worked in this part of town for years. It’s a lot of physical labor, carrying heavy furniture up and down stairs. By the end of the day, everyone is pretty tired. We usually just sit around for a few minutes before heading home to do it all again tomorrow. There’s no secret to it, just wrapping things up and making sure nothing breaks. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until night. We try to be careful with every box we touch.
