Our office is at A-5, Duttvihar Society, over in Undera, which is in the Baroda district. It’s a residential kind of area, so it doesn't feel like a cold business park. Being in a society like Duttvihar means we see the neighbors and the daily life of the town right outside our door every single day. Utkarsh Placement is all about helping people find where they fit in the working world. We spend our days looking at resumes and talking to folks who are looking for a fresh start or a better way to support their families. It’s a lot of listening and trying to understand what someone is actually good at. We don't have any big slogans or mission posters on the wall. It’s just us at our desks, making calls and sending out emails. Baroda is a good place to be, it’s got a lot of history and the people are generally pretty straightforward and honest. We try to be the same way with everyone who calls us. Sometimes the printer jams or we can’t find a file we need, just like any other small office you might walk into. We aren't trying to be the biggest agency in India. We just want to do right by the people who come through our door in Undera. It’s simple, honest work that keeps us busy from morning until evening, and that is usually enough for us to feel good.
