Tubepin

Tubepin is located over in the G.I.D.C. Industrial Estate. Specifically, we're in Shanker Tekri, Udyog Nagar, in office K-1. It’s a busy industrial zone, so there is always the sound of machinery or trucks nearby. We’ve been working out of this unit for a good bit now. It’s not a large space, but it fits what we do. The 79/6 block is easy to find once you know the area, though visitors sometimes get turned around in the estate. Inside, it’s mostly desks and some storage for our parts. We don’t have a big reception area or anything like that. You just walk in and talk to whoever is sitting nearest the door. Most days involve a lot of paperwork and making sure the inventory matches the orders. It gets hot in the afternoons, especially in the summer months. We have a couple of fans going to keep the air moving. People in the neighboring units are mostly friendly. We often share a quick chat during lunch breaks or while waiting for a delivery. It’s a practical environment. We focus on the daily tasks and making sure nothing gets left behind. It’s a standard industrial setup, nothing flashy, just a place for work. We like being in Shanker Tekri because everything we need is close by. The tea stall on the corner is also quite good for a quick break in the afternoon.
