Our factory is located at Shree Balaji, Block No. 43, right on Lamdapura Road. It’s a bit of a drive out there, but it gives us the space we need for manufacturing. We work with steel and other metal components, so the facility is quite large and full of heavy equipment. Steelsmith Continental is more about the production line than it is about having a nice office. The noise of the machinery is constant throughout the shift. We have a team of workers who know their way around the metal presses and welding stations. It’s a serious environment because the work can be dangerous if you aren't paying attention. We’ve been at this location for some time now, and we’ve slowly built up our capacity. The road outside can get a bit dusty with all the trucks coming and going, but that’s expected in an industrial spot. We don't go in for big mission statements or corporate talk. We just focus on meeting the specifications of the parts we are making. If a machine breaks down, we fix it and keep moving. Most of our clients are other industrial companies who need reliable parts for their own projects. It’s a no-nonsense operation. We spend our time checking quality and making sure the loading dock stays clear. It’s hard, physical work, but it’s what we are good at doing here on Lamdapura Road.
