We've been at 339 in the GIDC Manjusar area for quite some time now. It gets pretty hot in the summers here in Vadodara, but the work doesn't stop. We mostly handle fabrication jobs, lots of metal cutting and welding. It started small, just a few of us really. Over at Savli, people know us for just getting the job done. Sometimes the machines act up or a delivery is late because of the rain, but we manage. Most days you'll find us covered in dust or grease. We don't have a fancy office with air conditioning. It's just a workshop where things get built. People come by with drawings or just an idea of what they need, and we try to figure it out. It isn't always pretty, but it works. The shop is right near the main road in the industrial estate. We spend most of our hours here, sometimes late into the evening if a project is due. There's always noise from the grinders and the smell of burnt metal. That's just how it is. We aren't trying to be the biggest place around. We just like to keep busy and make sure the parts we send out are solid. If you happen to be driving through GIDC, you'll see our sign. It’s a straightforward operation. We just focus on the day-to-day tasks and keeping the equipment running. It's hard work, but it pays the bills and keeps the guys employed.
