Techno Engineering

We are over at No-16 in the Mahavir Industrial Estate. It’s on Jalaram Mandir Road, right near the old telephone exchange in the Kareli Baug area. It’s a pretty easy place to find once you know the landmark. Techno Engineering is a small shop. We’ve got a few benches set up and some older machines that still run perfectly fine. Most of our work is pretty repetitive, but that's the nature of engineering. We get the drawings, we set the machines, and we produce the parts. It gets noisy when everything is running at once, so we don't talk much while the work is happening. The office is just a small desk in the corner with a lot of paperwork piled on it. We aren't very good at filing things away, but we know where everything is. The floor is concrete and usually has some oil spots here and there. We've been in Kareli Baug for a while now and we know most of the other shop owners on the street. Sometimes we borrow a tool from the guy next door and he does the same with us. It’s a nice little community of workers. We don't do any big advertising. People just find us or hear about us from someone else. It is just a humble place where we put in our hours and try to keep the machines humming. That's really all there is to our story.
