Soni Vishalkumar Ashokkumar is the one you’ll see if you stop by our place on Silver Jubilee Park Road. We are situated right here in Sankheda, not too far from the park itself. It is a decent spot to be because there is usually a bit of a breeze coming from that direction. The road gets some foot traffic in the mornings and evenings when people are out for their walks. We’ve set up our workspace to be functional rather than pretty. There are piles of things here and there, but we know where everything is. Our day usually starts with a cup of tea before we dive into the work. It isn’t always easy, and some days we feel a bit tired, but we keep at it anyway. That is just how we were raised. We don’t spend much time worrying about how things look to outsiders. As long as the work gets done and we are fair to the people who walk through our door, we are happy. The building has been around for a while and shows its age in a few places, but it’s sturdy. We like being part of the Sankheda community. It feels good to see the same faces every day and know most of the people by their first names. We just do our thing and stay out of trouble. Sometimes the rain gets heavy on our roof, but we just wait it out and keep going.
