Ace India Consultancy is over at number 69 in Chandrashila Bunglows. We are pretty close to the Vasna Barrage, which is a big landmark around here in Ahmedabad. Working out of a bungalow feels a lot different than being in one of those tall glass buildings you see downtown. It’s a bit more relaxed, and we have a little bit of green space around the entrance. The street outside can get a bit crowded during the morning rush, but once you’re inside the gates, it’s mostly quiet. We have our desks set up in the main rooms, and the kitchen area is where we all gather to grab some water or make a quick snack. The address says 390007, and most delivery guys know the way because the barrage is so close. Sometimes the monkeys come by the roof, which is always a bit of a distraction for us. We’ve been at this spot for some time now, and we’ve gotten used to the quirks of the building, like the way the front door sticks a little when it rains. It’s just a practical place to get work done. We aren’t trying to impress anyone with a lobby or a receptionist in a suit. It’s just us working through our lists and talking on the phone. Most of the neighbors are families, so we try to keep the noise down. It’s a decent place to spend the day in Vasna.
