Shah Rakesh A

I am Shah Rakesh A and I operate out of A/28 in Vadodara. My place is in the Dahanukar Colony, which is situated just behind Hira Nagar. It’s a nice little pocket of the city. Hira Nagar is the big landmark most people use to find their way here. Once you get behind there, it gets a bit quieter, which I like for working. The colony has a good feel to it, mostly families and small businesses like mine. I’ve been at A/28 for several years now. The office is simple, just a room with what I need to get the job done. I don't have a big sign outside or anything like that. Most people who come here know who I am already. Vadodara is a city that feels like a big village sometimes because everyone seems to know everyone else. I start my day with a walk around the colony before settling into my chair. There’s always a bit of dust because of the construction nearby, but you get used to it. The walls are painted a plain color and I have a few plants on the windowsill that I try to keep alive. It’s not a corporate headquarters, just a place where I do my work and talk to folks who need help. Behind Hira Nagar, the air feels a little different, maybe a bit more relaxed. I’m happy staying right here at A/28 and doing things my way.
