Shyam Steel

We've been here in Manjalpur for a while now, just doing our thing with steel. It's a busy enough area, and we fit right in. Most days start pretty early because that’s just how it goes when you’re dealing with metal and orders. We aren't a big fancy outfit with a glossy lobby or anything like that. It’s mostly just us working through the piles of stock and making sure things get where they need to go. If you walk by, you’ll probably hear the sound of things being moved around. It gets a bit dusty, especially in the afternoons when the sun hits the workshop floor. We know the neighbors around here and they know us. People stop by to ask about bits of steel for different projects, and we just try to help them out with whatever we have on hand. It’s not always quiet, and some days are a lot more hectic than others, but we like the rhythm of it. The guys here have been doing this long enough that they don't need to be told twice what needs doing. We just keep our heads down and handle the daily tasks. Manjalpur has changed a bit over the years, more traffic mostly, but our spot stays pretty much the same. We have some old coffee mugs, some heavy gloves lying around, and plenty of steel. That's really all there is to it. No big secrets or complicated systems, just regular work.
